Race Directors Service #1 - Complete Race Calendar


The Race Calendar on www.RoadRaceResults.com is the most complete calendar in Ontario.

There is no charge to race directors for having their race listed on the race calendar. 

Thousands of Ontario runners use RoadRaceResults.com to find and select races.
Runners can click your race name and immediately go to your own race website.



In most cases, I automatically include every timed race in the province. Annually, I send emails to race directors to confirm that the dates and details in the calendar are correct.

Race Directors Service #2 - Race Calendar Highlighting


For a minimal fee of $15 per month (4 month minimum please), I will highlight your race in the calendar to make it stand out and attract more attention as shown for the Angus Glen race below.

I will make this as easy for you as possible. Simply let me know when you would like the banner to start and stop. I can make up the banner using existing graphics from your website. If you prefer, you can send me a JPG, PNG or GIF that is 700 pixels wide and 70 or less pixels high.
I will invoice you for payment by PayPal or cheque.



Race Directors Service #3 - Banner Advertising


Any Size. Any Website Location.

PPC: .50/click (Price Per Click)

A maximum campaign budget will be set by you to ensure that you don't spend any more than you budget for.

You can expect anywhere from 25-1000 clicks per month. There are many variables including; banner size, banner design, banner location, size and market of your race, time of year etc.

A similar banner placed using Google AdSense would cost at least $1.00/click to be targeted to the running community.


Targeted Advertising*

You can choose to have your banner ad targetted to; race city, runner city, race distance, month etc.
The cost is the same .50 per click. This is a very competitive rate for highly targetted traffic.
The number of clicks you receive depends on many factors. Primarily, the number of impressions directly influences clicks. A large banner on the home page could possibly get up to 1000 clicks per month. A banner ad that is only displayed on the results listing of 1 small race will probably get about 25-50 clicks.
You will determine a budget cap to ensure that you don't spend any more than budgetted.
A URL to a live web page report will be provided to allow you to monitor the response.

This is the most cost-effective way to promote your race to the greatest number of runners.
For example, if your race is in Windsor, there may no point in advertising to Ottawa runners. This system allows you to just pay to show the ad to local runners who view results from Windsor.
There is absolutely no risk to you. Your marketing dollar will not be wasted on low traffic media that doesn't reach your market.

Fifty cents per click is extremely inexpensive, especially considering the people seeing your race banner are the exact people you need to reach.

Remember, the key to building your race is to establish it as a 'brand'.
Only over time can you establish your race brand by building Brand Awareness, Brand Recall and Brand Identity. You can't have any of these unless you get your message out in front of as many runners as possible. Getting your message on www.Sportstats.ca and www.RoadRaceResults.com is the best way to do this. Runners go to results sites on a regular basis.

Race Directors Service #4 - PREMIERE RACE Banner Advertising


The home page of RoadRaceResults.com has a high profile display of 'PREMIERE RACES'.

Placement in this location will bring the most attention to your race.

The fixed cost is $100/month.



Race Directors Service #5 - Post-Race Survey


I will create, host and manage an online post-race survey service for you similar to this sample survey.
You may customize this with up to 10 additional questions specifically for your needs.
At any time, you will be able to see a survey report that shows you the distribution of responses for each question, in addition to the number of responses.
The survey will also include a section for runner's comments that will be available to you.
Multiple responses are prevented using functionality built into every web browser.

If you are committed to improving your race then you need to get quality feedback from your field.
Relying on random emails and comments that you receive will not give you an accurate idea of what your runners like and don't like about your race.

The cost of this service is extremely affordable and is based on the size of your total field, which in turn determines the number of expected respondents.

Plus $25 for each additional distance at your event.

The survey will require the respondents to indicate which distance they participated in.

If you organize several races throughout the year, I can definitely put together a package of post-race surveys at a combined rate.

To announce the survey, an email can be sent to your entire field at no cost, or if you prefer you can handle this using your own email service.
Of course, if I send the emails you will provide your email list to me in adherance to a strict privacy policy.
